I'm the digital editorial director of Fodor's Travel, the storied travel publication. I've overseen Fodors.com since 2016 and along the way have snagged a Webby Award and four Lowell Thomas Awards. I live in Los Angeles.
I’ve taken flights to nowhere and flown the longest route in the world; fallen off Croatian cliffs and traipsed through Peruvian mountains; eaten as many Michelin stars as I can stomach and caught at least one parasite; stumbled through Vietnam’s fake Disneyland and been trapped overnight at Madame Tussaud’s; searched for magic in Japan and dodged curses in Transylvania. I sometimes write about these things for Fodor’s.
I've always wanted to wear a monocle but I'm too cowardly to do so. I've slightly too much anxiety but I've learned how to manage it. I'm Jewish but never had a bar mitzvah (and greatly regret it). I'm American but the voice in my head is English. I read four novels a month but watch eight franchises of Real Housewives.
